Paul

Paul began his career in the studio of his father at the age of 12. He studied the Masters of Portrait Photography. He has created thousands of portraits, for artists, authors, musicians, executives and political leaders as well as weddings and portraits of countless families and children. Among his subjects are the pioneer liver transplant surgeon Dr. Thomas Starzl, dancer choreographer Cleo Parker Robinson, architect Curt Fentress, authors David Macauley, Marc Brown, Judy Blume, Marne Davis Kellogg, poet-musician Joy Harjo, nationally renowned pediatrician and child advocate Dr. C. Henry Kempe, Ambassador Swanee Hunt and Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.

Paul strives to reveal the spirit of humanity in his subjects. Portraits of inner beauty. Familiar yet timeless. He is especially well known for his children’s portraits and black and white Fine Art portraits.

In addition Paul is an exceptional wedding photographer. Rarely will you find a photographer with the eye of a gifted portrait artist as well as the intuition and responsiveness required for photojournalistic wedding photography. He works as part of a team with Paul III. Their wedding photography is emotional, sensitive, and timeless.

Paul lll

Paul lll studied under his father, as well as the Weston family in Carmel, CA and Ray Whiting. His wedding photography is sensitive and rhythmic. He has an affinity for capturing spontaneous, candid glimpses of life. Paul is an expert technician in archival fine art black and white printing. His work also includes still lifes, nudes and landscapes.
